Dominion Dominion is a family of automated serial console management appliances that provide secure,
remote out-of-band access to up to 32 target servers and IT devices, over IP from any Web browser, anywhere in the world.
Dominion works in heterogeneous network environments, and enables more than just access; it provides true device management through its monitoring, notification, and scripting capabilities:
- Monitoring: Dominion enables active monitoring of the status of each target device to which it is connected
- Notification: Dominion can send notifications to IT managers to alert them to a change in status of a target device
- Scripting: Dominion enables IT managers to write and run notification scripts via TCL and roll them out to the target devices
